About Me:   I am 186 cm (6’1”) in height, medium build, have three sons, love all water sports, like to go to the movies, am creative and love to get involved in that process on all and any levels, I am easygoing and easy to get on with – 2nd best is not good enough – only the best is acceptable, no matter how many times it has to be done to get there.
Experience:   1976 – I began my career at Radio 4BU in Bundaberg,
1977 – I was offered a job at 4GG on the Gold Coast as late night and later drive announcer.
1979 – Accepted a job at Brisbane’s No.1 station 4BK as Drive announcer and later Breakfast announcer
1984 – I was approached and offered a position with the Austereo Network in Sydney.
1987 – I was brought back to Brisbane by Radio 4KQ and was their No.1 Drive announcer for four surveys in a row before returning to 4BK in 1988 as it become Brisbane’s second FM station – B105.
1989 – I was approached by the Grundy Organization and 7 who offered me the position of game show voice over announcer for the Seven Network for numerous national game shows like Family Feud which ran for eight years winning 3 X TV Week Gold Logies. I was also voiced the national children’s shows A*mazing, Total Recall & other kids shows for the network.
1997 – For the following two years worked freelance for RG Capital Radio as its announcer for Mix FM on the Sunshine Coast and Gold FM on the Gold Coast.
1997 – PLM and Associates is one of Brisbane’s top advertising and marketing agencies. I voiced numerous advertising campaigns for L.J.Hooker, Brisbane Car Sound, Mitre 10, Hope Island Resort and Queensland Master Builders. I was also involved in putting together a number of TV shows which all went to air for 6 years on the Seven Network.
2001 – I worked as an announcer on radio & television commercials, documentaries locally, nationally and internationally.
2007 – I was enticed back to radio by my former boss at 4BK as Newsreader at River 949, where I stayed for 12 months, before moving back to Brisbane radio.
2008 – News Director of 4BC Chris Adams offered me a position with the station reading news.
2010 – Currently working for myself doing Radio and Television ads and documentaries.
Achievements:   I was the national voiceover announcer for the Seven Network, for numerous games shows like Family Feud which ran for eight years and won Three TV Week Logies. Apart from the radio and the media industry, my driving passion has also been my development, research and creation of a board game which has now been picked up by one of the world’s largest games companies.
Voice Skills:   I have recorded warm corporate documentary’s, character voice reads, fast paced Super A Mart style reads and can basically voice any style that may be required by the client and take direction well. Messages On Hold
